Phil Pilley - the BBC producer who became a close friend after meeting Tom on the Tour de France. Roger St Pierre - the well known cycling journalist and friend of Tom. This film contains footage of the great man in action, including Tom riding in the Brussels Six Day Race with the legendary Peter Post, and the BBC film from 1965. All of which adds up to the story that is The World of Tommy Simpson. The BBC film is a fascinating documentary. Containing extremely rare archive footage, it is a very special piece of cycling history, as Tom talks very frankly about his goals, cycling and what it takes to be a champion. It is unmissable.
